Biography:
Carolyn JH Fairman Griffin is a writer, poet and editor. She is also, a widow, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, Bible Study Leader and Publisher. She owns the Griffin Publishing Co. Inc. a desktop publishing enterprise. She is a professional Social Worker having earned a MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is dually licensed by the state of Illinois, holding a LCSW and a RSWCES or Registered Social Work Continuing Education Sponsor,( which entitles her to award CEU’s to other LCSW’s). She began working in the field of social services while in High School. She has thirty-five years of professional experience helping families to resolve problems, some of their own making and some not.

Carolyn draws from her experiences - with Public Welfare recipients, Mental Health clients, children and families in the Child Welfare System, Homelessness populations, and Domestic Violence victims - when leading / developing Bible Studies for Women’s Ministry Studies, speaking to Single Mothers, Supervising other Social Workers writing Memos From God : her series of poems, with scripture references, intended to increase the Biblical Literacy of Believers.

She has her own website, www.Sundaykool.com . This is where Carolyn offers original poetry and scripture references (and workbooks ) to the public. This material becomes the focal point for setting up the discussion of sensitive topics. The subject matters which were inspired by the clients who’ve shared their hopes and fears with her over these many years.
